How to Really Fish: What Is Still Unconfirmed
The questions this wiki cannot answer yet, listed on purpose. A guide that claims to cover everything is usually covering it with guesses.
What the story of this game actually is
You are on the water, your boat crashes, and you fish and fight your way toward getting home. That is the whole of what the developer has written down. There is no named protagonist, no stated antagonist, no map list and no ending described.
It is a game in beta, published on 24 August 2026 and updated weekly, and the description reads like it: seven short lines, five of them ending in an ellipsis. The content is further along than the documentation, which is why so much of this site is built from the badge list rather than from the store page.
Systems we know exist but cannot describe
- Cooking — confirmed by a Camp Cook badge with 211,456 holders, mentioned nowhere in the description
- Bosses — the description says friends make them easier, so they scale somehow, but only the Kraken is named
- Islands — promised as 'coming soon', with no list of what already exists
- The five unnamed PC keys — Left Click, Right Click, Q, E and Shift, with no published mapping
- Weapons as a purchase — one is sold on Roblox as a game pass, Dual Uzis [Forever] at 259 Robux, and nothing published says what it changes in play
Questions with no source at all
- What a failed run costs you, and whether cash survives death
- Whether money is shared between players in the same server
- Whether the boat returns after the opening crash
- What the three legendary-sounding badges require — Stuff of Legends, Myth Confirmed, Master Angler
- How many fish species exist, and whether the game tracks which ones you have caught
- Whether the game has an ending, given that the description asks you to survive and return home
- What the Dual Uzis [Forever] game pass does in play, and whether a weapon can also be bought with in-game cash
- Whether the game sells one-off developer products, which sit on a separate endpoint we have not queried
One question that closed, and what replaced it
Whether this game charges money used to be on the list above. It came off that list on 10 September 2026, when we found that our own check had been broken: for a week this site said How to Really Fish sold no game passes, because we were querying a Roblox endpoint that returns 404 for every game we have since tried. The endpoint that works returns two pass records, so the honest answer is now that the game has one purchasable item, an optional weapon pass at 259 Robux, and one delisted test entry the developer left behind.
We are recording that correction on the game passes page and in our update log rather than editing it away, because a wiki that quietly fixes its own errors gives you no way to judge the rest of it.
The questions above are what is left. The pass list itself is now known; what the passes do, and whether they are the only way money enters this game from outside it, is not.
How to read this site because of all that
Every page here marks where a claim came from. Figures Roblox publishes — badge counts, completion rates, player counts, the creation timestamp — are measured, and we say when we read them. Things the developer wrote are described. Anything we worked out from those two is labelled as an inference with its reasoning attached.
Where a number is missing, the page says it is missing instead of filling the gap. That is a slower way to build a wiki and it is the only way we are willing to build this one, because the alternative is a site that looks complete and is wrong in exactly the places a player needs it to be right.

Frequently asked
Why does this page list things you do not know?
Because the alternative is inventing them. Everything else on this site is traced to a source; this page is the honest ledger of what has no source yet.
How do you decide something is confirmed?
Two independent sources, or one measurable source such as Roblox's own API. A single player's account is published with that label attached.
Will these be answered?
Some will, as the game is updated weekly and our collector reads it every six hours. Others may never be, and they will stay listed rather than quietly disappearing.
